The Chicago News Guild is proud to invite our members to join the Chicago Federation of Labor’s May Day 5K 2026! It's a celebration of worker solidarity, collective action, and the fight for fair workplaces. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just in it for the walk and the camaraderie, join us!

May Day has always been more than a date on the calendar. It’s a reminder that the union values we uphold like fair wages, safe working conditions, dignity on the job were won because people came together and demanded better. Participating in the May Day 5K is one small, visible way we can carry that tradition forward.

This is a great opportunity to reconnect with each other, with fellow union members across industries, and with the purpose behind the work we do every day.
