GEOSU was voluntarily recognized as a Union on June 26th, 2024 and have since started negotiating their first collective agreement. GEOSU members join a tide of union staff across Chicago and the greater midwest region, building power and fighting for more equitable working conditions for organizers, staff representatives, and administrative Staff.
