Judith Masterson, a 27-year member of the Chicago Newspaper Guild, is a staff writer for the Lake County News-Sun. A graduate of Barat College, Lake Forest, she has held various offices with the Waukegan unit. She also serves as president of the Coalition to Reduce Recidivism, a Lake County group that assists ex-offenders.
